2024 Ford Mustang S650 – The all-new 2024 Ford Mustang has arrived, and the automaker is already providing consumers with options in which they may boost the performance of the classic sports vehicle by providing an optional Performance Package that adds equipment that is directed toward use on the track. Let’s take a look at the Performance Package together, beginning at the front of the S650 and working our way down to the back.
An auxiliary oil cooler is located right up front of the S650 Mustang. Its purpose is to maintain the ideal temperature for all of the moving parts of the vehicle. A pair of brake ducts for the 390mm front Brembo discs, which are responsible for bringing to a stop the bigger wheels and tires (front and rear), also contribute to keeping things cool.
The Performance Package includes a faster steering ratio that allows for enhanced cornering dynamics. This is made possible by a decrease in compliance between the steering wheel and the tires, which also helps. Increased confidence and improved ability to maintain speed in a straight line are also benefits of the more responsive steering.
2024 Ford Mustang S650 Changes
We do not yet know for certain whether or not the engine itself will have greater power when the performance pack is selected as an option, but as soon as we do, you will be informed. Instead, there is a strut tower brace installed under the hood to boost the vehicle’s stiffness, and an active suspension system called MagneRide is an optional option.
Both the Coyote V8-powered S650 Mustang and the EcoBoost are eligible for the Performance Package; moreover, buyers may choose between an automatic or manual gearbox for their pony car. When the clutch is engaged, vehicles with manual transmissions have active rev matching, which keeps the engine at a predetermined speed to ensure that every gear change is executed perfectly. This makes for a more exciting and delightful driving experience.
Inside of the S650 Mustang, the seats have been updated to Recaro models to keep the driver positioned correctly and in the best possible position to operate the class-first electronic drift brake. It is the intention of the designers of the Performance Electronic Parking Brake to facilitate the development of drifting abilities in drivers of all ability levels, provided that the practice takes place on a closed circuit.
The axle on the back of the vehicle is equipped with a Torsen limited-slip differential and large 355mm rear Brembo Brakes. Both of these components can be seen on the rear of the vehicle. At long last, thanks to the active exhaust system, the engine is able to offer its full scream.
