2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty – The completely redesigned Mustang from 2024 has already been shown out by Ford. However, the unveiling of that sports automobile is not the only significant event that will take place this month. Ford is also going to demonstrate a brand-new F-Series Super Duty vehicle for the year 2023. Ford claims that this vehicle offers the highest power and torque ratings in its class. It will come with a number of different configuration choices that may be used to create a badass off-road vehicle.
2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty Review
Super Duty offers a choice between four different engines: two gasoline-powered and two diesel-powered. The specifications are not yet in our possession. The Godzilla 7.3-liter V8 gas engine has been carried over from the previous model year. The basic gas engine is a brand-new 6.8-liter V8. According to Ford, the latter boasts the best-in-class horsepower and torque ratings for gas-powered vehicles.
The 6.7-liter Power Stroke Diesel V8 from the previous generation will be carried over by Ford into the new one, and it will gain a new High Output variation that Ford claims will have the most horsepower and torque of any diesel engine in its class. The six-speed gearbox is being discontinued by Ford as well. A 10-speed automatic transmission will now come standard on all Super Duty trucks. In addition, four-wheel drive will be standard on the XLT and all trims above it.
The Tremor model is the most advanced and capable off-road vehicle available. A front-end raise, a limited-slip differential, a Dana front axle with axle vent tubes, 35-inch Goodyear tires, Trail Control, and a rock crawl mode are all included in the Tremor package. In addition to that, it will inherit the Trail Turn Assist function seen on the Bronco.
Ford is selling an XL off-road kit for customers who do not choose to purchase the full-featured Tremor trim level. This includes water-fording axle vent tubes, skid plates, 33-inch tires, and an electronic locking rear differential in addition to a higher air dam and skid plates.
Ford is making it possible for Super Duty trucks to function more comfortably as mobile offices, which is a common use for these vehicles. Both an updated infotainment display measuring 12 inches and a fully customizable instrument cluster measuring 12 inches may be added to the new Super Duty. In addition to this, Ford is going to use the same Max Recline seats that are seen in the F-150.
The Super Duty comes included with a connection at 5G speeds. There will be some fascinating new features made possible by 5G, such as over-the-air (OTA) software upgrades and a Trailer Navigation system that will take into account the size of the trailer while calculating real-time travel routes. It will also ensure that being on the work site is not an acceptable excuse for missing a Zoom call, which is a bit of a bummer.
Additionally, Ford installed a camera as well as sensors at the very top of the trunk lid. When the tailgate is down, you will still be able to use the back camera and parking sensors thanks to this design feature. In addition to that, it comes with a 2.0 kW Pro Power Onboard system.
